Greetings!
This coming Tuesday come help us celebrate the THIRD ANNIVERSARY of LOST INWOOD. Three years ago our intrepid trio of local history buffs Cole Thompson, Jason Minter and Don Rice began their popular local history presentations at the Indian Road Cafe.
This month, in what’s become an annual tradition, we’ll fire up Jason’s century-old magic lantern projector and show some extremely rare original, vintage glass-slide views of the neighborhood as it was around 1900.
We’ll learn about what was discovered as land was cleared for apartment buildings and roads were graded and paved for the very first time. We may even have a first-hand viewing of few Revolutionary War-era artifacts from those actual discoveries.
